I need to know how to go about finding out some information on a local sculpture in Downtown Houston
One of my pictures I took for the America 24/7 contest, was selected to be in the State book called Texas 24/7 (im so excited!!!!!) . But I dont know how to research the sculpture. Guess I need to go crawl on it to find the artist name and artwork title.....

Why don't you contact the Houston Chamber of Commerce. If they don't know, they may be able to put you in contact with people/agencies who do know. |

Hey James, Congratulations! I'm thinking that if you contacted the city government, someone there probably has the info you seek. You might have to wade through the bureaucracy, tho, so take your hip waders, it might get pretty deep, LOL.

Do a google image search for houston sculpture (link1) and see if any of the pictures are what you are looking for. If so, see if the nformation you need is available.

If that fails, give these guys a call.
EDIT: Scratch that. Use their public art locator.
EDIT2: Is it one of these?
(That's my last edit. I promise.)
