| Question....: On an average how much does an average 11x14 color print cost using an Epson 1400 wide-format printer? |

It will depend on a few things, What paper you are using because of the cost of the media and also how much ink is used in the print. It's really hard to figure out. The ink is costly so if you print 20 11x14's you may use up half of several tanks of ink. Use your calculations to figure how much ink you used per print. I own this printer and don't print many large images with it due to the cost. Hopefully this is some help.

I use to really want a high quality photo printer until I looked into the cost of prints. It is much cheaper to have your photos printed at a lab than running them on a printer at home. The only reason I can see getting a printer is if you into printing on different types of media. I have been playing around with mix-media art and may get one but only for printing on something other than photo paper.

You gotta be careful, a lot of the "artistic" non-photo papers will clog the printer up something awful...
