Can someone help me extract the body of the girl from this shot? I basically want to make the background all black.

It would help if we knew what software you are using.
In PS CS3 you could probably use quick selection quite easily. |

| Upload a full res version somewhere. If you PM me your address I'll extract it with a blank background and send it back in your format of choice (gif/psd). |
