 Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to prove that if a tournament contains no cycles, then it must be transitive.
 
 Remember, a tournament is just a complete digraph. So for any two vertices (or nodes) u and v, exactly one of (u, v) or (v, u) is part of the set of directed edges.
 
 Stated casually, of course.

 Before I begin, I'm proposing that we advance the terminology and notation a little bit. Instead of referring to u > v as a directed edge of T, I would like to refer to (u, v) as an arc of T.
 
 Any objections?
