| There were some good shots, but there was a lot of dross in this challenge. The scores are probably right where they should be. I voted two nines, two eights, a few sevens, a handful of sixes, and maybe more fours than I've given out in a while. |

I honestly can't believe that my entry is above 5 compared to all the other great photos! I have never given out so many 8's 9's and 10's.

That's good, because it seems very much to be a rising tide here. Vote a lot of people low, and recipients of your low votes seem more inclined to vote low in return. But vote high, however, and the opposite seems to occur. :-) |

Vlado, Actually I wouldn't mind kissing few of them. LOL :)
I'm quoting my previous scores so that those interested can see how the scores had been going up and down.
I though by quoting this, it would be helpful for many scientists here who had been going through several pages to see patterns in scoring over the week. LOL

Disagree completely.
All 6 photos should be scored a 6, all 7s a 7, 8s an 8, etc...
If the crop is that good, it's that good. If 85% this go round score 6 or better, then great! The photos were worth it. |

Only it's not a better-than-average crop. There are a handful of very good images. If you disagree, well, fine, but then our tastes -- diverge, shall we say. ;-)
Incidentally, if anyone was wondering (or cares), since my honesty has brought out the most sarcastic in people, I'm not playing DPL, and I'm not on a team, nor did I enter this challenge. |

I believe its simply a disagreement, your average score given is quite close to my 5.2 (which is technically below an average score). I did enter the challenge and am in the DLP and gave out many more 7 plus scores than normal and very few sub 4s. As you said, we disagree, and that is fine. There we agree. |
