Care to elaborate about what makes it so great?

Only reason I ask is because I'm in the market for a new phone, and wouldn't mind some suggestions.

That one looks a bit bulky though - I'd been thinking more along the lines of an iPhone or Blackberry Bold 9700.

Same here...looking for a new phone and can't decide. I'm on the fence about some of the Droids (I thought the video quality sucked on the ones I saw at the Verizon store). Verizon isn't getting the Nexus One now, so that's out. Trying to decide whether to wait for Verizon iPhone or go to the dark side with Blackberry. Then there's always the Evo, but I don't think Verizon is getting that either...

I'd like to hear why you like this phone so much...

I have a different Android phone. And the highest rated challenge entry taken with it. (Well, the only challenge entry taken with it.) The "Droid" has been getting some good reviews, but T-mobile is not carrying it. I like having one with a physical keyboard. I've had mine for about 1 1/2 years now. No real urge to upgrade yet.

Haha! Neat shot. Almost makes me wanna get that phone to see if I can top your 4.8 score with it :-)

Maybe they should do challenge where you're only allowed to use a cellphone cam. I mean we've all got one right?

Interesting! Looks like it's almost identical to the Droid. I have my first Droid shot in a challenge right now!

Similar in layout, but as the first Android phone to market, it is a bit slower than the Droid, and I don't think mine will be capable of upgrading to Android v2. Right now it does everything I want. When T-mobile has a compelling upgrade model, that's when I may change.

So what is the difference between the Motorola "Milestone" and the "Droid"? They both look like the same thing. Different specs perhaps?

Sorry, I was actually referring to the Milestone in my previous post. I had to look up the differences too. Seems like it's basically the European version? Here's the quicky article I found. //www.cnet.com/8301-19736_1-10389778-251.html

Seems like native multitouch is a big deal too. Of course, I have that now on the Droid with the Android 2.1 upgrade. :)

It is to Apple, who is suing HTC and probably other Android related companies to follow.

That's for sure. I was quite surprised to find it included with 2.1. I guess somebody figured it would be ok to enable it at this point in the legal process.

care to elaborate (source) you're claim that Verizon isn't getting the Nexus One?

Been following the new phones for Verizon for a bit now and never seen this. Looks like I'll end up with the Incredible. Basically the same as the Nexus One with HTC's sense UI, better camera, and the fact that you can be on a family plan with Verizon. Which I think is the tipping point if the Nexus One ever did come to Verizon.

Was just at the Verizon store yesterday and the tech guy there (who is a pretty straight up guy) said that they are getting the Incredible, but the actual Nexus One is going to T-Mobile. Here's an article that basically says the Incredible is better anyway.

My husband says his tech podcasts are still claiming Verizon is getting the NO, as well as getting the iPhone in September. However, I read an article that says Verizon may be pushing the iPhone off until sometime next year. Who knows. Verizon tech guy says that they are sure they are getting the iPhone, but not even a whisper of a date on that.

I was kind of trying to hang on to see if Verizon will get the HTC Evo, but nope, it's going to Sprint. Boo-hiss. Looks like I may have to go Incredible. I just hate the name.
