I added a new column next to "this weeks rank" and "last weeks rank". It will tell you how many places you moved up or down.

Nice.
What are the ranking calculations based on? average of all your entries that week? percentile or points.. or something else?

The users rank is based on points earned in three categories

1. Entries
-The most points a user can earn is based on how many users have entered at least one challenge this year. An example would be if 1000 users have entered at least one challenge this year the user with the most challenges would be awarded 1000 points, called entry points.

2. Average
-The average points are calculated the same way as #1 (Entries).

3. Percentile
-Even though percentile points are calculated the same way as #1 (Entries), percentile can vary from challenge to challenge. This is why you will see users with different percentiles even if they have the same average.

These three categories are added together (Entry Points + Average Points + Percentile Points = Total Points).
The users rank is based on Total points. The higher total points the better the rank.

Added this week is the "UP / down" column. It tells the user how many places he/she has gained or lost this week compared to last week.
Also added this week is the "Points Behind" column on the far right. It tells the user how many total points they are behind the #1 ranked user.

I'm going backwards! I think I've dropped 50+ spots over the last 4 weeks or so. Thanks for stats Scott!

7-2-3 don't mess with me. I am up over 100. Sell! Sell!

I've said it before, and I'm saying it again... Scott = LEGEND!

Any chance of getting all the previous weeks up so we stat nerds can track our progress?

Funny you should say that. I'm currently getting the stats form week 1 through the current week. Once I do then I will put all weeks online so users can see how they are doing. I may have to go back to a blank white page instead of the colored version, to save space. My ISP only offers me 10mb of space and with the colored version it only holds up to four weeks.

I guess I need to get me a website for all these stats if I can ever afford to do so :)

Thanks for the complement.

Scott

Just looked at the source code and you know what the problem is... 1) you're using tables and 2) you're using Microsoft Excel to create the html... there's SO MUCH rubbish code there that it's not funny.

Yea I know. Unfortunately the VBA code I use is in the form of Excel macros to pull the stats from DPC. It would be nice if I had another way to pull the stats or knew how to do it.

I gave you a username for my TSO site, the same site I posted the DPCO stats on. Post it there, it's all the space you could dream of.
