Just note that in this case many of the images are taken outdoors.
The "indoors" is the real challenge. |

We're going to see lots of windows in this. Not necessarily a bad thing but its going to happen. Then again, try to get natural light indoors in a room without windows. Of course skylights would also be a natural light source.
And now I am rambling.... Dang! |

I live in a former one-room schoolhouse so I have 6 huge windows downstairs...and skylights upstairs! :-0 |

remember you dont have to -see- the window; you could do a macro on a table indoors using natural light from a window and some bright shiny silver reflectors- you could take a photo of a dog sleeping on the floor in a square of light cast by the window the rest of the room barren and empty- you could take a photograph of a candle unlit sitting on the window-cill looking outside-with the sun setting right where the wick would be lit.... (long exposure of course) you could take a photograph long exposure of a bug crawling up a door-frame -indoors looking out; (church shots indoors looking out- a couple kissing in the doorway-) there are so many possibilities.....

Ohhh yes, there will be reflectors...especially my favourite, the PiePlate TM. I may just go nuts and see how far I can bounce light into the depths of my house. Muwahahahahaaaa! |

This is my highest scoring "natural lighting indoors" picture taken in '08  he was in between the mirror and the blue background sheet (which acted as a reflector) The lighting came from one window to the left of the set up.
I think this will be a good challenge for me since I'm so used to using studio lighting. |

This is my highest scoring natural light indoors photo. A very good score but not a very interetsing photo (I guess it just fit the challenge really well).

yes it does...it's where I do most of my shooting now...cause I get beautiful natural light |
