Hmmmm, for some reason your link just brought me to my feed. Will someone else try & see if it's just something I'm doing wrong??

No this is a wrong link. She copied and pasted her "home page" rather than her "profile page."

This should work

Request sent! :)

Would anyone like a "chat room" like this one for but only for us Pirates to join in...?

This will give us instant messaging to talk about challenges or whatever else our minds come up with. I would be more than happy to make one.

Just a thought, if you think it wont be worth it just let me know again it is just my mind thinking a bit. :)

The chat room sounds good. Don't know how often I will be able to be in it, but it would be nice to have.

A chat room might be fun. When I was working on my masters last year our group found the best way to chat was through AIM (AOL) since most people had it already set up & for those that didnt' it's free & easy.

just set up the group page on Facebook...it's private so it will only be our group...just need a few more of our members to join if they want to...but I think that most everyone has a page...I sent the invites to you already...

I do have AIM so if anyone would like to chat it is the name I have here on DPC...

mbrutus2009

Just IM me and let me know who it is and I will be sure to add you to the buddy list. :)

AIM also has chat rooms that can be made.

I am leary on posting photos and such to Facebook given what I heard about changes in Terms of Service last year. Of course it has been months since that uproar - so terminology and wording of ownership may have changed...would have to read up the TOS.

I think we should stick to the private forum we are going to get and the PM system. This way we are all safe *smiles*

Yes, we'll definitely post images to our private thread. Facebook is just a nice way to stay in touch, independent of DPL.

from what I understand the area that I put the group in is "secret" and no one other than those that we invite can see it or our posts or pictures...BUT I'm not totally sure...I prefer to use the DPC messages/e-mail for posting the pictures...why re-invent the wheel...but as Alicia said it's a good way to stay in touch independent of DPC.

I love the idea, that means when I hopefully come down into the Florida area next spring (St. Augustine area perhaps) There will be plenty of people ot hang with. Cant get to FB at work, I will accept the invites when I return home.

I am thinking the thread is also the best bet. Yet AIM and Facebook chats could be used for critiques on the spot?

Hey team.....what's up.....just checking in. Let me know which site we will be using. I have a face book account that I don't use. But I could try to find the password and get it to you if need be. Hot Pixel I mentioned the wrong processing program I use. I use cs4, along with topaz adjust and photomatix but I can destroy a image using any program...Lol. Oh by the way, I from the NW. Portland Or & Vancouver Wa. The city of Camas Wa. Please don't hold it against me :)

Here's an interesting question to the DPL veterans ....did the DPL season of challenges include the Free Study? I know competition is fierce in that race but, I have a picture that just might do well...
