I wish there were a button for 5.5. Even better.....a slider from 1 to 10

You know, there are those images that just don't deserve a 6, but they don't deserve a 5 either

There are a lot of them in free studies

There really is some AMAZING stuff in here! Quick question... is this site divided into animal photography and landscape photography? Seems to be pretty much just those two... with some portraits sprinkled in.

Well, as I always say, the voters are always right. So by gosh, I've got myself a heaping bit of mediocrity bordering on mundane going at the moment, based on my just barely above the mathematical average of 5.5 score. It has, however, made at least two people laugh. So I'm good with it!

Ah, but I'd rather feel sorry for myself than drop frozen dead from a bough... :-) Really, though, after the initial "but I really was trying to be DPCfriendly, dammit" disappointment, I'm not too terribly upset about it. I still really like the shot. I'm just not cut out for this place, you know? Maybe I should give it a bit more time.... ha!
