wow, it receovered 1237 tifs. hopefully my stuff is in there somewhere...

thats the good thing about recovery program , it digs out fossils even you would not know.

Damn right! I used recovery software on a new card I had used once, just to try it out. It recovered over 200 pics, I had shot about 8!! A new card? People I didn't know and never will, they were on my brand new card??

If you bought it from a brick & mortar store, they might have used it to demo a camera?

It was a sealed Sandisk CF card, packaging intact, box security sealed. Didn't make that much difference to me, just formatted it and it does the job okay:)

Hooray -- I'm glad you got the photos back!
FYIm, I tried that once on a memory card -- it recovered multiple copies of many of the same photos, over and over again. But a lot of deleting is better than not having any recovered at all.

Grab yaself a big bowl of salad now and shift all the ice cream damage... no recovery software for ice cream abuse
