Does anyone know where I can get a fairly good but not pocket burning wireless mic system?

I want to attach it to a pastor and the bride and groom without anyone seeing it and have the system hook up to my laptops mic in area. I don't need to broadcast it over a sound system or anything I just want to record the sound from the pastor, and the B&G so I can add it to their video later.

Any help is appreciated.

Indoor or out? Best bet is a single condenser mic hidden inbetween the three of them in a plant. I don't think your gonna get a decent sound with a wireless though as those tend to be pretty directional.

If you are at a church they should have what you need. I've pulled it of with an overhead mic for a drumset once before. Wasn't the best but better than nothing just a single mic inbetween them run to the sound board are and then take the sound out from the board and run it into a small voice recorder or even straight into your laptop.

It would be used for both indoor and out. Most of my weddings are not at a church so I still wouldn't have what I need to pull it off.

does anyone else know how I could do this?

Several years ago I helped a colleague set up a Radio Shack wireless mike in a lecture hall so she could move around as she taught without tripping over the microphone cord. It had a lapel mike with a cord to a transmitter worn on her belt. The receiver plugged into the PA system. It was adequate for what she needed.

I just checked the Radio Shack site. They still sell a wireless mike. At only $50, it may be worth a try. The site says that it is out-of-stock for web sales but several local stores seem to have it.
