I very well realize that, but I thought often i got lower scores as my stuff is mostly related to food and beverage, which doesnt seem to suit most challanges.....here i expected to shine finally.... |

I know what you mean (from experience). Unfortunately food shots aren't too well received here (with exceptions). |

keep in mind...anything over a 6 is good and anything over 7 is fantastic. I wouldn't be surprised if that score gets you into the top 10 - 15. |

I took a look through several types of catalogues before even thinking about entering this challenge. My gut said not to enter but, since I took some attempts at it, I ended up entering late in the challenge entry period. In looking through the entries now, I'm thinking that a lot of voters are looking more for the advertising look which is really different than catalogue shots....at least IMHO. :) But, maybe, I'm seeing it from an off perspective??? I don't think that I'm going to vote in this challenge because my perspective on what a catalogue shot should look like, seems to differ from what others think. I want to be fair to all photogs in here so, bowing out of scoring this one :) |

if i have a 6.xxx score i'll post it every 2 minutes, same with a 4.xxx or 3.xxx just so i can whine and rant but since i have the middle pack score, i'll post in every 2 days
