For reasons I have yet to understand, I'm about to go buy yet another little film camera if it is still at the thrift store (a Voigtlander Vito B). And I've come to the conclusion that it might be nice to have a light meter, since this new'ish camera needs one, as does my Argus C-3. Granted, I can use my digital camera as a meter, but maybe I don't want to carry the digital camera. Any good recommendations for a cheap, small light meter?

So far I've not spent more than $30 on a camera. And $2 for film. So I'm going on the cheap here. :-) I may have to start looking for used light meters at thrift stores and flea markets... Very much appreciate the suggestions!

That link appears to be for a flash meter... won't work for non-flash metering. |

Your best bet is probably flea-bay. You can get something that should serve you well for around $20.

Call Brooks and see if they have anything. Or, just up the road, a nice day drive, is Cal Poly SLO. I know the lab tech in the photo department, I could put you in touch with him and I'm sure he'd either have something or know where to go. If you want to do that, give me a PM and I'll send you his contact info.
