| Im looking for something that reaches into the 100-200mm+ range, while keeping in my $700(max) budget. Can you guys think of anything that might fit the bill? |

| opinions on the 70-200mm f/4.0L? Price looks great, and its L glass. Personal experience with this lens? |

| It's a great lens... Just buy it :-) Should be able to get it for @500ish used. The f4 IS version is reported to be better but it's a lot more $$. The only complaint I have ever seen about this one is that it's not f2.8 :shrug: |

| 70-200 f4L is the ticket...best bang for the buck. |
