| I am considering this HP 16GB SDHC Secure Memory Card, $27 bucks, was $51, looks the lowest price on the internet. But i'd like your opinions, is it worth the money? |

You should find some benchmarks to compare this card to others. R/W speed are change a lot between sdhc models. I this sandisk and lexard are on the top level and I don't think that HP are really in the game.
You may need big writing or reading speed ... or not. |

| I, personally, would not purchase it. They only cards I will buy are Sandisk Ultra or Extreme editions that come with a lifetime warranty. |

I've certainly never heard of HP making memory cards, but it's a class 4 and it's HP, it's not like they don't know what they're doing when it comes to storage devices!
I can't personally recommend the card itself, I would buy it if I thought it was a good deal relative to the others on the market. |

| I would expect HP is rebranding someone else's card. Probably no way of knowing who actually makes it, but I don't think HP would choose total junk to put it's name on. |

eh i mean i prefer speed over capacity so i wouldnt think twice about buying another 4gb extreme III. i dont think this card is listed but for a memory card write speed comparison check out this site

| I'd be a little worried about the risk of losing 16GB worth of pictures. I think it might be better to have a few smaller ones. |

| Even if it's too slow for in camera use. It's not a bad deal for storing files. |
