Yes, I have been using photoshop cs3 for about 7 months, and recently trying to upgrade to photoshop cs4 with a trial period. But, I am still learning. Got a long way to go. But, I just bought some digital templates and digital backgrounds for photoshop. Can anyone explain to me how to go about applying a client from a modern muslin background to a digital background. Or is there a tutorial on how to do this ? I would appreciate any help.

you have to extract the subject from the background they are on and then paste the cutout over the new background to form a composite.

There's hundreds upon hundreds of tutorials on google if you type in "photoshop extraction" or "photoshop cutout" or something along those lines. |

Topaz Remask 2.0 also works well for masking/extracting and has a trial version for you to screw with.

ETA: Whoa, it's way more expensive now than when I got it...
