Ok seeing as I'm probably the least experienced of everyone on here, I need some help.

I'm going to wwe Monday night raw tonight and was looking for suggestions on settings for my camera to get the best shots. Don't know if anyone else is a wrestling fan but any suggestions will be appreciated

Don't use flash.

Most likely you will be adjusting shutter speed Tv mode and upping your ISO to get the right speed. Set your ISO to the highest that you are willing to use, depending on noise levels and play with the shutter speed by chimping often.

I'm not sure how much help I will be but I will give it my best.

I have never been to a WWE event as I am not a fan but I imagine the light quality will be pretty poor. Depending on how close you are sitting and the amount of light you will likely have to boost your iso pretty high which is going to give you grainy shots. With the lenses you have listed you will probably want to use the lowest f-stop you can to let as much light in as possible but be careful your depth of field doesn't get too small or your subjects will not all be in focus. Shutter speed is going to be a problem as well as you are going to want a fairly fast speed to stop the action, best bet imho is to either play with all the settings manually or go with a shutter priority mode with a speed that will stop the action like you want it.

Don't forget your white balance settings either. Hope this has helped you a bit, maybe someone with experience shooting these kinds of events will stop by and offer their advice. Have fun.

Well the show was decent, but the lighting kept changing so I said hell with it and just set the camera to auto. So ill just edit them later and hope for the best

And when you come in the building, the security guards tried to take my camera saying cameras with interchangeable lenses weren't allowed. I had to convince them that mine didn't do that. Kind of annoying, afraid someone will get a picture than their own photographers I guess.

They don't want people throwing lenses at the competitors.
You may have gotten some pretty good shots. There should have been fairly strong light at the mat, though color balance may have been a problem. You may be able to save some of the dark or off color ones by converting to B&W.
If you shot through the ropes, you may have a good one for the parallel lines challenge.

We were up on the 2nd level. Good seats to see everything but not so great for my 18-55. The pics are decent though once I played with a few on photoshop.
