Quite the controversy this morning in Houston: "Children may be frightened..."



As usual with the Houston Chronicle - comments range from the benign to the bizarre.

Regardless of how one feels about the depiction of the subject, or what is being said, one thing is clear: This photo makes you stop, look and think about it. That makes it an effective photo, regardless of how you ultimately feel about it.

That a ten year old would have that kind of mind to depict the symbolism is amazing. He gets to learn early about how uptight society will stifle artistic endeavor.

What a shame.
