Perhaps this has been suggested in the past, even if it has I feel it is worthy of another mention.
I would love to have a feature on DPC where we are notified by PM or Email when someone links one of our photos in a DPC forum thread. Sort of like when you are tagged in a photo on facebook. I uploaded a series of images a couple of days ago, on average each of the photos has 5-10 views, Except one that has 195 views. I am trying to figure out where all those views came from or if it was linked in one of the threads here. I do not feel like looking through 100s of pages searching for it, Would be so much easier if the site would automatically tell us if it has been added to a thread so we can have a look at the thread and see what people are saying about it or reason for it being linked to.
I already did a tineye on it and that turned up nothing. Just wondering why only that one got a bunch and the others didnt being that it is one of a 7 shot sequence of action. |

How can you tell?
ETA: at first I thought that maybe because it is the first image in the row of most recent uploads on my profile page. However my profile has only been viewed about 30 times over the past 2 weeks.

| Not a bad suggestion. I thought maybe you had a comment on it, which would put it on the browse recently commented section, but not even a comment. I'd guess it's linked from offsite somewhere. |
