| Tonight I had my hands on a Canon 40d, 28-135mm lens and 430ex flash...for $900. I have been watching the 40d and have not saw one go for less than $700, this one has no blemishes whatsoever. The lens goes for around $300 new and the flash I would estimate at $200. The camera looks great and seems to function well. I will be picking it up tomorrow evening. Can't wait!!! |

i picked up my 40D used from lensrentals.com in november for $415 with only one scuff on the bottom and flawless LCDs. i know that 40D's usually go for around 600-650. id go for that deal though sounds great to me :):) youll LOVE the 40D too :)

Sounds like a very decent buy - I used to have the 28-135 and it is a great lens!

Looks like it is just over 10,000 now...not positive on how to check it though. I did buy it and have only taken a few test photos...more to follow!!! |

| Yay! I'm glad you got it. I was thinking the only reason I wouldn't want it is because that I already have that lens. |

| OK, one little problem with the lens...Anyone know how to fix the slip on the Canon 28-135??? Evidently it's a known issue. Any suggestions would be great. Other than that, I'm loving this camera just as I knew I would. |

Is it actual zoom or focus slippage? Mine has always felt, and sounds, a bit loose, but actually both focus and zoom don't seem to be affected. |

| Zoom creep. Some lenses have locks to keep them from doing this. |
