So, anybody care to offer up guesses why the entry scored a 5.3xx when I was expecting 5.8+ and started out over a 6. The one negative comment focused on questionable natural nature (it is..), the lighting, and the composition..
The composition was more or less controlled by nature, as it is an "on matrix" specimen, basically the crystals are attached, and lighting minerals is really a challenge.
So, please, tear on in, tell me, was this the wrong image, or the wrong PP, or just a so-so photo..
