I actually marked the coordinates when I got to the parking lot... I'll try to remember to run out to the car and I'll give you the coords.

In short, when you get off I-80 at Exit 277, turn right at the light and go down the road for a little less than a mile and look for the sign on the left. You can't see the hotel from the road... there's an entrance that winds its way up the hill. The sign out front still says "Happy New Year's" on it :)

Thanks Alan! Hopefully we all get there without issue - that should help a lot!

I guess we're never going to let you live that one down!

I've pulled directions that don't include the toll-charging PA Turnpike and emailed them to the models, so that should clear up any issues with their finding the place. I've got a huge load of gear to load up in the morning, and then anything I haven't thought of at that point just can't be too important.

Looking forward to seeing you all! Hopefully all will go as planned and we'll have a great time!

I just loaded my car up with almost everything. The cameras and lights will be loaded in the morning. I want to get there a little early to take care of the room charges and initial setup. Maybe between 7:45am and 8:00am.

I have a little bit of printing left to do, and then it's bedtime.

I'm hoping to be there about 8:15. I'll be up early to load the car and head out. Good thing we're having breakfast there!

Same here, brother - slept for shit. I'm going to be running a little late...closer to 9 than 8 for me now, but I'll be there well ahead of the models.

Just got home -- woo!

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great day. Thanks to OdysseyF22 for coming up with the idea in the first place and lining up some great models... thanks to TonyT for coming up with a great venue, and for hanging out at dinner last night... thanks to NikonJeb for allowing me to take his picture with his sexy mannequin and to pick on him in general... and I have to say a special thanks to Photorico -- I really enjoyed his amazing expertise, and I found him to be equally gifted in his ability to encourage people. Great guy!

And johntpt25... your wife celebrates her birthday on a great day -- my birthday! :)

BackpackR, it was great to meet you -- I'll be sure to honk the next time we're in Greensburg!

I want to extend my sincere thanks to all that attended this GTG. I had a wonderful time and feel like I came away having learned a great deal - and just as importantly, feeling as though I had made some new friends! You guys were a great crowd and it was a pleasure to meet and work with you all!

Based on the success of this workshop, we will simply have to do another before too long! I've got a couple of ideas I'm going to kick around, and if anyone else has thoughts for the next time, please shoot me a PM.

I want to give a special call-out to Frank ( Photorico) for his excellent mentoring of us all - taking us outside, and especially for that final group shoot, was the highlight of the day in my mind!

I came home with a bunch of great shots and I couldn't be happier about the whole experience. This is one of things that makes DPC really great! I'll be posting shots soon and can't wait to see what the rest of you got.

On a final note, please be sure to email some photos to each of the models you worked with - this was the deal we agreed upon, in exchange for their services. If you need their contact info, or a copy of a release, please PM me and I'll take care of it.

Cheers guys!

I am sort of upset that we didn't take a group shot with every that was there. We can't use the excuse that we didn't have the room.
