I apologise i assumed the people named in the thread were people who had completed teh said task not those who were "doing" i dont expect people to leave feedback i was merely incorrecty pointing out that 2 of the 6 hadnt done the task.

I should probably add that (1) no one promised anything and (2) the OP was asking for comments, not for 100% comments. I'll be commenting on 100%, but just because you reply to this thread doesn't mean you will (or should) comment on 100% of the entries. I started it to give an incentive for others to comment on at least 40% ("Honorable Mention"), and that's what people are trying to do.

and I enjoyed this very much! Some pictures that I had orginially left no comment forced me to study the picture. And as a result I bumped up my vote on a couple of the photos. :-)

Bump a few hours before the end. I have the ribbons up. Blue for 100%, red for 80%, yellow for 60%... Star's gonna take a while, sorry.

Sorry guys I've failed miserably here, I've had an unexpectedly hectic few days at work. I'm around the 35% mark but have to call it a night.

Thought I'd have a late dip at doing 100% at this challenge but was beaten by the clock six comments short of the full quota.
Oh well, 96% will have to do but boy have my typing skills had a work out this afternoon!
Sorry for any mistakes in the comments.

I'll give you one possible reason for that. I treat the "This comment was helpful." checkbox literally. If the comment is explicit enough to help me improve, then I feel it's helpful. Your comment on my image, while better than most, didn't actually tell me enough to be useful.

That said, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the effort you have put in. It is appreciated.

I tend to be the opposite of this and usually tick every comment as helpful just as an acknowledgement and thanks to the person taking the time to comment. Even if its a 'I like it' or 'This is awful beyond saving'. Both ways are valid of course and i don't think people should be annoyed if their comment is not acknowledged. I tend to think that some of the worth in commenting is for the commentator anyway.
