can't beat solid state memory.

A testament to the durability of flash memory cards.

Of course my cards fail just from using them out of the water.

Yup, the card manufacturer would have a field day with the potential advertising from this incident.. 18 months on the bottom of the Atlantic and still working..

That is truly wonerful. I wonder if the finder could have also contacted the camera company to see if it's warranty had been submitted with all the owners details. Of course since they bought it on holiday they probably hadn't gotten to do that yet.
