| Many of us of the neutral (strangely named "not specified" on dpc) gender are sad to see that we still don't have our own little icon. Surely there is something more fitting than the male icon default we have currently. I suggest a halo or wings, maybe even a third eye (6th chakra). |

Perhaps just a bald head, LOL. Or long hair on one side, short on the other?? Hmm, the possibilities are endless!

hmm. now you bring up yet another possibility: androgynous. while i was more concerned with the "neither male nor female" case, the "male and female" case also deserves attention. kirbic's suggestion of short and long hair is great for the latter case!
