i just received my 200th comment. go me...
- Anyway, I am curious about a person's average "comments-per-photo" vs. their avg received vote as i'm curious the correlation..
my average is 18 comments receieved per photo. avg rating: 5.0645
when i divide 18 by 5.0645, i get 3.55 (a seemingly irrelevant number)
BUT-
is it a coincidence that my favorite number is actually: 3.53? that's pretty close!
(nevermind that last part - just post)

Hmm...at 154 votes, 5 comments, everyone understands how my pic fits the challenge. However, only 4.75 rating. They get it, just don't like it.
Last time...13 comments, 4.717. As to votes..i see a 'viewed' number of 41. Does that mean 41 votes? and 13 comments..good ratio that.
So does the number of entries this time mean the number of comments per pic will be way down?
Not sure if there is a correlation between comment and score. One could try submitting something guaranteed to get comments (bad ones of course) and see what the score ends up to be.

My average score is 5.337 and the average number of comments is 10.784, from a sample of 37 open challenge entries. I can only assume I take boring pictures that people don't have opinions about.

| best, the viewed counter is how many times someone has viewed the photo after the challenge. |

Yikes! 10 comments on average is way good (I'll bet it's above average)
If not for another thread and a challenge to increase the quanitiy of comments people leave (I think the folks are trying for 10 each all the way to every photo) you'd see WAY less comments for texture II due to the record breaking number of entries. I try to leave comments on 25% of the photos but I'm feeling quite typed out on this one!

| i've got 14 comments so far in textures II.. but i might note that the majority of them are complaints having to do with my photo not fitting the challenge.. :-p |

I very much doubt that, for example Miah hasn't had less than 12 comments for a challenge, and your average is also over 10.

46 challenges entered, average vote recived is 6.0024 so average number of comments is 18.7
Most comments 38, least 5.

2453 received, 93 challenges entered = 26.4 average. However, I know I got some post challenge comments and some comments on non challenge pics.
6.23 average vote received.
I have to start commenting again. I almost have as much received (2453) as I have given out (2707).
