Ok, so Dave is coming down from Canada and I have to beat last years sight seeing.,

SO I am thinking of renting a powerboat for 2 days to go to Rainbow Bridge and Glen Canyon etc etc.

Camp out one night

Cost is $90 a day (includes food, gas, boat,)

Anyone seriously interested, cos i will have to book this soon !

OKAY IT IS BOOKED FOR MARCH 10TH AND 11TH, PRICE went DOWN from 120 to 90

Glen Canyon is so cool. I was there in the middle of the beastly summer, and still enjoyed it. Great for swimming, and the colors are amazing (I remember blue water, blue skies, and fluffy white clouds reflecting the red earth underneat). Have a great time.

What will be nice is the fact that in a powerboat we can zip in and out of all the little side canyons as well. Night photography will be a must.

The only things you have to bring, will be a sleeping bag and a tent, i only have one tent and one sleeping bag,

This sounds really tempting...i've been there before when i was a kid and it is gorgeous there....lots and lots to shoot...

We were definitely having fun zipping through the narrow canyons on our boat. In on of the pics above, we were between two walls with only inches to spare, while the walls towered overhead and the depth finder still showed 100 feet of water below us.
