| Lea, best advice I can offer (other than to STRONGLY second the "don't wear anything you haven't worn before" - I did that and spent the day hitching up my pants, we won't go there) is to HAVE FUN! Seriously, the more fun you're having the more fun those you're shooting will display and the pictures will be more fun for the recipients. The other thing to remember is you're shooting for them - try to cover everyone if you can, and don't worry if the pictures aren't perfect. Let us know how it goes! (And when you get time, pass along what you've learned about your flash!) |

Oh, Deb - the flash thing isn't anything really fancy or fun, just something I wasn't aware of about the flash before hand.
It's an SB-600, and can be used as a wireless remote flash. I didn't know that it could be used wireless. I think that's pretty cool. And my tiny SB-400 can trigger it.

Oh, I hope they aren't doing anything outdoors - I cannot even imagine how cold they'd be !
Tomorrow's wedding and dinner are at a little Bed & Breakfast place just barely outside of town.

| Bed and Breakfast for everything, perfect, the only changes in lighting might be light coming into the windows. Just remember to bounce the flash, chimp like hell, donĂ¢€™t be afraid of bumping the ISO, a little noise can be fixed. |

Sadly, that would likely cost them more than they're paying me for this. But she is paying for my pedicure tomorrow morning !

 kashi have lots of fun and come back and tell us how it went. I have 19 people that I am going to take photos of in April so I will need all the tips that I can get. |

Tip #1 : Do NOT try to shove all 19 people onto a 4'x10' backdrop !

I just did my first critique, I used  Ecce Signum as an outline and I used Snaffles last sentence and changed it a little. But after I went to look at the critique I realized I had signed it Susan. How embarrassing haha |

kashi Lea, I could have given you a hand tomorrow and all you would have had to do was ask. I was open for Saturday but now I'm installing windows at my in-laws house.
You will rock them tomorrow, just hang and have fun with everyone. You are going to be great, I just know it.

Okay - I'm washed, dressed, gear is checked and packed, extra batteries, I even put on deodorant.
I have to be at the B&B in an hour - I'm just gearing up to leave now. Gotta find me some granola bars or something to take I think . . .
