Just curious: Do people check what data they input in the date field? I just browsed through the advertising photos and there are many dates that are out of the range (04 instead of 05 for the month or vice versa), and some dates that are really out there (not sure how the person came up with them, not just transposed numbers). I'm sure those are just typos, and I don't think anyone should be DQ'd, especially since the exif data could prove the actual date ... I was just wondering...
Is there a way of alerting people if they enter a date that is not within the range of the challenge dates? Or else, should the field be dropped altogether?

The javascript to do this is actually in the submit photo page's code, but they ain't using it. If Lang didn't waste all his time doing stupid shit like forum search, maybe he could fix it. |
