I intentionally went a bit out of the box on this one. While my entry meet the challenge theme, I'm betting most don't see it that way.

| It's not a genre that I'm comfortable with. In fact, I usually suck at it. But I had a good time doing it, and really liked two of the shots (out of umteen-million) that I did! It's fun when challenges work that way, learn something while you're doing it and like your result. :D |

As long as you tried and like what you did then thats all that matters! 4.2 for me so far but i like what i did also, still alot more voting to go so you never know |

Sheesh. The harsh voters are out in force. I guess getting lot's of 5's is better than getting slammed with 2's and 3's. Ought to go up a fair bit.

Oh, please, please, please...do NOT judge your work by basing it on the scores in here! There are a number of people in here who are professional photographers and cannot make a decent score in these challenges! There are a lot of reasons why shots don't do well in DPC. People who do well in here, don't necessarily do well elsewhere. The revers then, is also true. By all means...try other markets or venues for your photography but, NEVER give up on your work (which is wonderful btw after looking at your portfolio) based on the scores in this site!! Heaven knows I'd be throwing my cameras out if I based much on the challenges in here and the scores. There's a lot of different dynamics that come into play and sometimes it has nothing to do with photography. :) |
