I may be jumping the gun here, but since it looks like DPL is starting up again, AND it looks like teams are starting to form, seems like a good time to start a thread for people who want to play but don't have a team to show their interest.
So post here if you want to be on a team.

I'm not sure what the status is of Team DPC7. I've seen  vikas,  imagesbytlp and kolasi around..are you 3 interested in DPL?. I definitely want to play. |

I am guessing I am a free agent, there is only one person who is even left on dpc from my origional team from the first DPL.

Who was that? I was on so many different teams that I can't remember all of them. :-) I do know I captained a team called the 'Free Agents' one year. :-D
Now I'll have to look and see if I have any of the old team logo's and/or email to refresh my memory. |

The one person who is left from my team "the Pirates" is Bergiekat,
the people who have left my LeeD, Elizadeb, Mark, UncleBRO, and Lenkphotos which all have been gone 8+ months or more.

Guys, I can't make you do anything but you really are jumping the gun and your teams more than likely will change. A notice will be sent out before the start of the DPL and you will have more than enough time to pick your team members.

Could be, but seems like teams are already forming, or so it seems from the chatter on the official thread. This thread is just intended to provide a resource list of people who are available to join a team, to help captains fill out their rosters whenever that may be.
Given the current poll, best guess is there will be self-formed teams, though with some limits on the final composition. Last time around, it was a bit of a free for all at the outset as teams scrambled to form and sign up before the league filled up (though I think in the end they added some divisions so most every team that wanted in got in). This thread lets people get a jump on the competition, should they be so inclined.
(There's also more than a little self interest here, since most of my team, GoldenEye, is no longer around and I doubt I will try to reform it for DPL2. I'd be happier to let someone else captain the ship this time, so I can just hang out below decks drinking with the crew). |

I wasn't around when the last DPL took place, so I have 1 tiny question:
does this mean that, when you're in a team, you should enter in all the challenges which are on?
Or do you still pick those that interest you, as we do now? |

Your teams chances of doing well will be greater if everyone on the team participates weekly and doesn't miss. This is based on the final score using the top 4 (or 5...can't remember exactly) scores from team members and averaging those 4 (or 5). If you don't have enough players participating then you end up with a zero (0) in there instead of a real score - which hurts. |

Thank you for your explanation Barry. In a way I thought it would be ideal to participate in all possible challenges. Just wanted to make sure.

There will probably be an official thread/place to sign up for the DPL as a Free Agent. Anyway, I'm definitely in. I doubt I'll find a team otherwise...
