Nik plugins or a full application? My copy of PaintShop Pro has a sample version of Nik color efex and even though it is 32 bits it works fine on my 62 bit Win7 system.

plug in filters

We could try that. It would be a good way for me to actually see what is going on. First thing I would think is that your plugins are not located in a folder that Photoshop is looking for them in. You may need to locate where the Nik installer has put them and then make sure that file path is entered into photshop as a location where it should look for plugins.

The only NIK plug-in that works on PS 64 bit is the new version of Viveza( 2). It is frustrating but you can open the rest in 32 bit.

Are you using 64 bit photoshop, or 32 bit? Perhaps the reason the Nik plugins work on my system is that my installation of PaintShop Pro is the 32 bit version.

I have the same problem. The Nik software I have is only 32 bit so it will only get added to the 32bit version of Photoshop. I assume you already know that you have that version in addition to the 64bit version, right? if not, when you install CS4 the 32bit version gets installed in the /Program Files (x86)/Adobe folder (i.e. the 32bit version) and the 64bit version gets installed in /Program Files/Adobe folder.
