My camera didn't have the software and I can't find a download for it. Only found updates that require the original software :[

The only disc in the box was a software instruction manual.

Does anyone know of a download to shoot tethered? Or have a download to the EOS utility.

Free is great!!

Was your camera purchased new, and if so from where? If it did not have the disk in the box, that would be of concern to me, possibly indicating it was previously bought and returned. Of course it is also possible that it was truly missing from the start...
In any case, if you did purchase it new and the disk was not there, give Canon a call and see if they can send you the disk.

If you notice, what he needs is the EOS Utility. The only thing on the site is the updater. It requires a previous install, per his original post. He *does* need the disk, AFAIK.

taken care of.

I was under the impression that the updater included the full utility. In any case, as the next post said, taken care of.

But, in the future, if one can't find the software under a particular model, search under other models. I notice that not all the same software is connected to each camera, even though many software packages will be valid.
