Hello, I'm looking for buying a new camera to take pictures from wildlife and landscapes. All the reviews about the f717 seems to be good but all the pictures I'have seen on the internet seems to have cold colors (for ex. the blue from the sky seems always to bright). Is it only on the screen and not when you print it? (But I'have seen some pretty nice sky made with canon's). sorry for my english(I'm from switzerland) |

The F707 is often accused of having "disney" or well saturated colors, especially red. The F717 is slightly toned down. The pictures I have seen are very natural. Check out the review on dpreview.com for comparison.

But I'm still thinking that the colors are a little bit cold especially with landscapes, has anyone a picture of a real blue sky?

If the sky is just a little too blue for your personal liking, tone down the blue channel in a photo editing program. I have the f717, and I think it produces great colors.
