I just noticed that 1 Sale a Day has a Vivitar strobe for sale for $9.99 plus shipping. If anyone is dying to have a strobe and can't afford a Nikon SB or Canon strobe, this might help out. If nothing else, you get to experiment for not much money.

I was just about to post the same thing when I saw you posted it first. Looks like a fair deal. I already have a bunch of Vivitars, but not any that will ignore the ttl pre-flash. Probably worth $15.
I have noticed, however, that unlike Woot, 1saleaday charges you full shipping per item, not one shipping fee per order. I was going to buy some of the $1.99 ray guns, but at $5 shipping per item they are not a great deal anymore. In fact, more than they were at Wally-world. |

Yah, it seems like a fair deal. Amazon.com has this strobe for about $30 plus $7 shipping. I agree with you that the shipping is kind of ridiculous for multiple items. I don't like it when companies make money on shipping.
