Anyone else have this happen. At first, the top of the camera display simply said "lens" and the camera didn't work. Then it was turning on and appeared to work. Now I've just checked it, and its not focusing, and if I try zooming the lens jams again. I'm assuming this isn't a DIY fix.
Has anyone else had this happen? and, if so, what were the repair costs? |

| I had a G6 and a couple times the lens stuck, but then it worked smoothly. I'm guessing it's not DIY and I'd send it to Canon to get an estimate. They have a loyalty trade-in program and you may be able to upgrade if the fix is expensive. |

| That's what I was afraid of... Well... I think I'll wait a bit and see if it magically works again, and then take 'er in. |
