Being the brilliant person that I am, I have already boxed up and shipped my upgrades to my mother's house. The problem is, I did this before I installed them on my laptop, and the desktop system is going to be in transit for awhile... SO.... does anyone know how I can find the serial numbers on my desktop before I box it up? Thank you kindly!

Yeah, that's what I recall from earlier versions, but I can't seem to find it in CS4....

No worries. I probably won't be shooting for a bit, and I can always use the jpegs if I need to edit for here, yes? (CS3 and LR 1.0 won't read my 7D RAW files...)

If you got to Help, then System Info, and look about 10-15 lines down - is that the serial number?
(Or is it the serial number of my computer? :-) )

You can find a list of free product key finders here, one of them should work for you. I haven't had to use one in years though. They search your drive(s) and locate the product keys (which is technically what the photoshop serial numbers are) for installed software.

Brilliant piece of software... Makes moving machines a lot easier with that detailed list of installed drivers, software, serial#'s and everything else. It misses the odd thing but gets the vast bulk.
