My mother has 4 grand daughters, and she has asked me to take a series of photos of each girl for her. She wants each series to be 5-7 shots, and to tell a story. So far, I've come up with 2 ideas.... take one girl out to the railroad tracks, dress her up in denim overalls and a stick with her possessions held on her shoulder (kinda like something you might see in a Tom Sawyer story) , and take pics of her "running away" from home down the tracks.

The other idea I have is to dress up one girl in a ratty, dirty dress, and have her near a small body of water. She would pick up a frog (fake of course), kiss it, and instead of a prince appearing have her turn into a princess complete with a fancy dress and tiara.

I need two more ideas, and thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone can come up with something.

Thanks

Dan

You might want to take into account the personalities and interests of the granddaughters. You haven't said how old they are, but maybe they have some ideas?

The granddaughters are 8, 7, 3, and 3. Maybe I'll ask the older two if they have some ideas. Thanks Melethia.

I've got to agree with Melethia here... Get some input from them.. Look at their books and toys / video games / tv shows...

Make them a character from one of their favorites... Your Mom will love anything you do, it's her granddaughters... But, the girls would probably be much more "into" a shoot that will make them a fantasy character from their favorite what-ever-it-may-be, and as we all know, willing models make for much better results usually than hesitant / impatient models...

Look to some classic fairy stories for inspiration...

I shot this a while back for a challenge, and would love to revisit the idea again (if I ever get any me time).

That's a great idea Simms, I just might have to use it :)

Thanks
