A few months ago I decided it was time to start shooting RAW, so I looked into some programs, and the best one looked like Aperture, I downloaded a trial and quickly leaned is was an Intel-Mac only deal, and I'm a PowerPC user. So I've started looking for alternatives, Blue Marine doesn't function very efficiently and is currently in beta testing, but I want something a little more professional then Adobe Bridge, as it was kinda thrown into the Creative Suite on the side, whereas Aperture was built for that exactly.
Does anyone know a way I could run Aperture 2 or a previous version on a PowerPC G4 Mac? Or any other software that could preform just as efficiently or even better. Below I've posted a link to the BlueMarine website if anyone want's to give that a try.
Blue Marine
Lightroom 2
Thanks in advance!
ETA: "Forgot to mention, I've got a MacMini PowerPC G4X, so I need an Intel Processor."
AND: Link to Lighroom 2 Trial

| Adobe Lightroom is the PowerPC alternative, and roughly equal to Aperture. |

| Yeah, Lightroom is great option. I gave up on Aperture 2 about a year ago. Just too slow on my Intel Core Duo iMac (2.4ghz, 4GB RAM). |

Lightroom is a more all-around photo editor, and more of a substitute for Photoshop with more organization. Its hefty $300 price-tag is a bit scary for just organization. That's all I want, not the editing and sharing functions that give Lightroom its $150 price increase over Aperture. Not that it's out of question, but if anyone knows any other programs besides Aperture, Lightroom, Bridge and Blue Marine, please share.
Thanks again!
