Hey all horsepeople out there, check out this video of a very unusual pas de deux. (non-horsepeople, a pas de deux means a routine set to music featuring two horses and riders).

Now in most pas de deux, you make an effort to match the beasties involved in terms of size, colour, markings etc. Not quite so in this case. In fact at the start of the video, you only see one horse...but soon all will be revealed...

Enjoy, everyone!

The quote at the bottom of the page reminds me of one of my favorite calls in 18 years of paramedicine-

"When I ride my horse I get to forget I have a brain injury"

We ran on a woman who was knocked unconcious by her horse.

She was awake when we found her. She claimed that her horse would never do such a thing. Not possible, it's never ever happened..

Her husband stated this was her 16th concussion. She stated this was impossible.

She had the imprint of a horseshoe on her forehead. :)

LOL! I used to have a roomie who was a paramed, so I can just imagine the things you've seen.

Still amazed that the woman survived a hoof to the head. That usually means game over.
