Does anyone have any first-hand experience with Feisol tripods? Specifically I'm debating between Gitzo and Feisol. I don't mind spending the denero for Gitzo but if the Feisol is 90% the Gitzo for 1/2 the price, well - I'll spend 1/2 the denero.
My situation: I hump a 5+lb tripod around the bush, having a much smaller/lighter one doesn't seem to be a bad idea! Unfortunately there are no camera stores within 300 miles so I can't compare/contrast. That's where you come in!!!
I've perused the net and have read other opines, I'm now looking for yours :)
Any input on Feisol in general would be appreciated. Any first-hand review of the Feisol CT-3441S would be super-duper appreciated.

Can't say anything about the Feisol, but I just bought this bad boy
Light and packs up really small.
Took it to Norway with me last week. First time I use it, it win a ribbon.
It's alL about the tripod!

That's one of my contenders. Hmmmmm - it's a ribonator? You may have pushed me over to the gitzo end :)

//www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/848585 Don't know much about Fesiol, but I saw this posting for $265 on Fredmiranda so I thought I would share.I bought amanfrotto 055cx pro3 and I love it. I also had a 5 lb plus tripod before too so I feel your pain. :)
