My monitor's stuck showing Inverted/Negative properties. Anyone know how to set it back to normal. It's an Apple Display but I assume the same fix for a PC might be applicable.
Thanks in advance - Steve |

I know this sounds silly, but did you try shutting it off and shutting the computer off, then starting everything back up again? |

Or do the opposite of this (I trust just doing it again sets it back):
press....control, alt, apple, 8 yeah, not many people know about this, so do it in the apple store...watch the sales people panic heh |

| Yeah...I did that a few times. I'm looking for default settings but can't find any. |

The control alt apple 8 didn't do it?
Might be a glitch in the matrix which requires more serious attention. |

well, I hit control, apple, 8 and Time Machine started to open up. Then I hit control, alt, apple, 8 and nothing happened. I use a PC keyboard because I can't stand the feel of the mac version however, plugged it in the follow your instructions.
Time Machine seems useless, as well. I opened it...chose a time BUT the restore button isn't working. Never understood that program and it always kicks in right when I'm editing, locking up my system which nearly ruined my life a few times trying to get out some rush jobs. For that reason alone...it blows. |

| Hopefully an Apple person will chime in. I only drool over the really big monitors with the really sharp pictures and bright colors in the stores. Have never owned one, though. |

A few things. I was was hitting F8 and NOT the number 8 and initially, I was hitting it on the numbers part of the pad which didn't seem to kick it in. |

Some laptops are easier to read in bright light with an inverted screen, light text on dark BG.

Numbers pad doesn't function in macros unless the num lock is *on*...
