The Economist Magazine's obituary this week is of Charis Wilson, famous model for photographer Edward Weston. Wilson was quite a character in her own right, as was Weston. But together they "completed" each other and each others' art. Worth reading.

Make that Edward WESTON, please :-) And I was surprised to see that Charis was still with us, I'd assumed she'd long since passed on.

The "brand police" at Westin Hotels must be very happy. Sorry for the typo. Anyway, have a look at the article ... very well written. I was going to say "bringing some fascinating folks to life," but it's an obit for Pete's sake. |
