went to conowingo dam and could not believe the number of adult and imature bald eagles i saw there! Was a great day!! this is just outside pa in md on the susquehana river

| Do you shoot from the dam? or on the shore? Upriver or downriver? Which shore? |

| can't shoot from dam, no walkway or anything thereif you cross the dam from th east side (1 south) hang a left right after crossing and hang the next left it takes you to a boat launch and kind of park. take your longest lens's! |

| I've seen Bald Eagles flying overhead as we crossed the Susquehanna on I95, but didn't realize they were nearby in quantity. Next time maybe I need to schedule a little side trip into my travels. Thanks for the heads up! |

What is the fine for shooting a bald eagle in the US?
$5000 dollars and a year in prison.

well i shoot them with my canon all the time!!! guess i'm in trouble now!!!lol it was a lot of fun there there were adult and youngsters droping fish in the parking lot, they were perched in the trees above it i've never seen such a sight except for pictures from alaska There were quite a few photogs there too!

| I live in Virginia, so it's not out of the realm of possibility to get there, but it's not feasible time-wise because of the holidays. But I want to live vicariously! More pictures, please! |
