If everything in CS4 is in the same place as it is in CS2 then the actions should work. However, if any command in an action is activated differently or from a different place then the actions from CS2 won't work.

I'm hoping you didn't buy master suite and that you stumbled upon it (unless you got it at a dirt cheap price) because it has so much stuff on there you will never use...sound editing, video editing, flash programming, etc. On the plus side, it does have illustrator, which is huge if you ever do any graphic design.

They will almost certainly be fine - if in doubt load one up and try it - but you will obviously have to point CS4 to where the action is stored on your pc.

Master Suite? Is that like Creative Suite plus crap?

Copy your CS2 actions to another area of your computer, just in case it overwrites them when you install CS4, and then you can paste them back in. You may need to reload them into CS4 once you open up PS. But that way you don't risk losing them. I often back up my presets to an external just in case I have a computer crash.

No. I'm saying if the functions used by the actions are in different places in the program (like in a different menu) they won't work. It all depends on the action.

The only way to find out is to load them and try to run them.
