| I want to make a famiy slideshow that I can play in the DVD player, what is the best programs to do this with? normally I just use windows mobie maker, what programs do you guys use for this? |

I use Adobe Premiere Elements
another program that's quite popular is Pro Show Gold. |

you know, I've never used that and had it for a while.. lol okay how do you fade the music in on there? |

On Premiere elements?
It's quite easy. Right click the audio track you want to fade and select properties. There will be selections for fade in and fade out. They fade for a default amount of time but you can change that.
If the question was for Pro Show Gold, I have no idea but suspect it's just as straight forward. |

No. I'll help if I can. I'm currently using version 7 (I upgraded from version 4 recently).

I have Adobe Premiere Pro .. I don't know what version it is.. |

| That's ok. I don't have the Pro version so there's probably a lot more you can do that I can't. |

now if only I knew how.. lol ah well a few days or reading and playing I'll get it figured out.. hopefully.. do when i am finished creating the clip I want I just burn to a DVD and it should work in the DVD player for the TV right? |

You'll find all the options for burning a DVD within Premiere. It's fun. You get to create the DVD menus and scene selections just like a commercial DVD. |
