I think my i9900 is dead. (well, I know it's dead). I'm expecting it to be an expensive fix because it had two different error messages and now it won't start at all. I'm going to talk to a technician, but I figure I should also look at my other options.
If I were to buy a new printer that can print up to 13"x19", what would you recommend? |

| I own an Epson R1900 and love it for colour prints. They're as beautiful as any inkjet printer on the market. As for B&W, you need to tweak the tones a bit for true B&W tonal values. Great results overall. |

| I have been looking at the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 and 9500 models lately. I am almost convinced that I should start talking my wife into the 9500. She does more printing then me and is quite picky about quality so I doubt I will have much problems talking her into it. I have read several reviews and talked to a couple of people who own the 9500, Everyone seems to love it. |

I have the Canon 9000 and love it. Quality is amazing they now have a version II and they are being dumped on FredMiranda by people who bought it as part of a bundle who didn't need the printer. Some sort of rebate deal to get an SLR at a cheaper price(same way I got mine two years ago). Here is one for $250

I also own the R1900. Its a great printer, excellent colors, and the price is nothing to sneeze at. |
