I personally think I'm a bit of an undervoter, and my stats show:
Votes Cast: 4,029
Avg Vote Cast: 4.8970
I want to see what other people think of themselves voting-wise, and also what their statistics show...

Right on the money nearly - just about even with site average. (5.5 unless of course that has changed...what is the current site average btw???)

Well I really don't know what to base it on, but I would say I tend to vote about average.

By your own vote, you consider yourself to an above average photographer. A bit low of a voting average, but certainly not in the troll range.
I tend to be more generous. I think as I have learned more, I have begun appreciating other genres and approaches to photography that I would have previously discounted as poor work. Now I see what the photographer was attempting to convey or capture. My appreciation of others work has grown faster than my own skill however, but it is slowly getting there. I have also at times entered something with the knowledge that it would only do poor or mediocre in voting, but was aiming to appeal to a particular audience. The average does not tell it all.

I like to think I'm average but improving and my scores show that. In addition I roughly give what I receive. As I have learned more my grading has become more subjective and hopefully more helpful. I have also been working on making sure I comment thoughtfully even if at times negatively. As a rule I like to make sure I comment on every vote >6 or <5 so that there is at least a constructive reason for votes off average. I guess I consider 5-6 average or slightly above |
