Anyway, I recall snapping a shot of a policeman on a horse not so long ago. He aske me what sort of camera I was using, what lens and so on. One of the advantages to using horses for crowd control is the higher viewpoint, so he ended up taking a picture of the event for me :)

A bit of common sense is all that is needed really. I know the laws vary from country to country with regards to taking photos in public. I have had no problems when I have been out and about in this country or on my travels in Egypt, Turkey, India, Spain, various Greek Islands. Of course we ourselves have to be responsible and use our own common sense whilst snapping away.
